The Power Breakfast report

Regency’s first Power Breakfast – bring on the bacon!

Well, what a fantastic turn out for our first Power Breakfast this week!

Regency tenants braved the cold and lashing rain for an early start on Wednesday at Cote Restaurant.

It really was a dreadful morning, but the company and opportunity to make new friends and contacts more than made up for the inclement weather.

We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and were enlightened by two great talks from employment lawyer Jennifer Renney of Renney & Co and trademark and patent attorney Lewis Hands, of HandsomeIP. Thanks to both for excellent talks.

Jennifer talked about the five common mistakes firms make when taking on new staff, and Lewis outlined the ten reasons for registering a trademark. So useful hearing advice from experienced specialists in their fields.

Others present included Graham Parker of Go National PR, Ross Manaton of Bromhead Johnson, Mike Callan and Lily Sutton of Judo Space, Ben Houghton of Highpoint, Andrew Pinnell and Lisa from Impress Media, Norma Steinberg of Balance Accounts, and John Dickens of Godjira.

We’re planning the next Power Breakfast mid-January 2012, so book early!

Bath Mayor to open our 10th centre

Really proud to share the news that the Mayor of Bath has agreed to formally open our 10th centre at 37 Gay Street on Tuesday November 29th.

We are so pleased that the Mayor has agreed to honour us by “cutting the ribbon” so to speak as this is such a massive milestone for us and the new building is superb.

Our clients and friends will soon receive a formal invitation to the opening ceremony, which will be followed by a drinks reception in the building, including a tour. It’s going to be a fantastic evening.

Mayor of Bath

Great speaker confirmed for the Power Breakfast

Lewis Hands of

We are very pleased to announce that Bath patent and trade mark attorney Lewis Hands of will be guest speaker at Regency Offices’ first Power Breakfast to be held at Cote Restaurant from 8am on Wednesday October 26.

Lewis will be talking on “Ten Reasons to Register Your Trademark” which should be extremely relevant to most Regency tenants.

Lewis is a Regency tenant at 3 Chapel Row off Queen Square. He says: “The Power Breakfast idea is brilliant, and I am really looking forward to meeting other Regency tenants I’ve not already met. If my talk goes down as well as the English breakfast I will be delighted.”

The Power Breakfast is open to all Regency tenants to attend although for the first event we have just 20 places. The cost is £10 which includes breakfast. Please email me if you would like to attend

A peek back in time at our 10th centre

Below is a link to some photos of the glorious period features we are retaining at our new business centre – 37 Gay Street – which is due to open in November.

The new centre will be our tenth, and we’re planning to stage a really big “house warming” to celebrate this massive milestone in Regency’s growth.

We hope to have this wonderful building buzzing with businesses by Christmas.

Our brilliant team is now installing state of the art wiring for telephone and internet, and the whole building will be refurbished and redecorated from top to bottom.

Hope you enjoy the photos!
