The Mayor opens our 10th centre!

The Mayor cuts the ribbon at 37 Gay Street

We were so grateful to the Mayor of Bath, Councillor Bryan Chalker, for formally opening our 10th business centre at 37 Gay Street on Tuesday November 29th.

You can see photos of the event here Mayor photos

Also in attendance were staff from Regency Offices and tenants, including our first clients at 37 Gay Street, Afterthought Software Ltd.

A number of firms have already taken offices in the building which we have been sensitively refurbishing and re-wiring over the autumn.

We are so grateful to the Mayor for attending this landmark event in the development of Regency Offices. He was such a fun gentleman to have as our honoured guest. What a credit to Bath he is!

Regency Offices Ltd has great pleasure announcing that from December 2011 local and national landline telephone calls from all our offices will be FREE.

That’s right, we won’t be charging new and existing tenants for calls from any of our ten business centres, (subject to our fair use policy).

We believe Regency is the first serviced-office provider in the UK to offer FREE calls. So Regency is trail-blazing again, but this time it’s nationwide.

We have taken this step because we want nothing to stand in the way of our clients making a success of their businesses.

We know it’s tough out there and we will do everything possible to help our clients survive and prosper.

Telephone costs have come down dramatically over recent years and we felt the time was right to pass on the benefits to our tenants.

We also hope our FREE CALLS deal will encourage people working from home to take up an office with us.

So please spread the word about our FREE CALLS to anyone you know looking for an office, including those who already have one! They won’t get a better deal for office space than Regency.

Handsome I.P. stages "office warming" party

Our client Handsome I.P. Ltd hosted an extremely enjoyable drinks party last Wednesday night November 9th to celebrate the official opening of their new offices at 3 Chapel Row, just off Queen Square.
Lewis Hands, Handsome I.P.’s managing director, played host along with his technical assistant Richard Smith who has recently joined the firm. It was also a pleasure to meet Lewis’s wife, Jane.
Other Regency tenants were also in attendance including accountant Norma Steinberg of Balance Accounts, pr guru Graham Parker of Go National Publicity, and family law solicitor Richard Crallan
Bath Life magazine sent along a photographer so hopefully we will see some photos on its pages soon. Thanks to Andy Short of Andy Short Photography who took the photos for the magazine.
Best of luck to Lewis and his team for many years of success ahead for their growing business.

Talk to Bath Entrepreneurs Group

I had the great privilege of being guest speaker last week at a meeting of the B&NES Entrepreneurs’ Group

The meeting at Green Park Brasserie last Wednesday night (November 2nd) was attended by about 20 local businesses. I talked about my own business background, how and why I started Regency and where we are now. Everyone seemed to stay awake and there were quite a few questions afterwards which I enjoyed tackling.

I was impressed with the range of members’ businesses and enjoyed the opportunity to network with other Bath business owners.

So, many thanks Angela Ladd, of Small Business Focus, for the invitation.

Here also is a link to some photos from the evening B&NES Entrepreneurs’ Group Pix  I am the one in the striped shirt!
